DRIVER YARD/ASSOCIATE

 NON CDL NEEDED 

Full time – Hourly rate based off of experience

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent
  • Valid drivers license
  • Current DOT Medical Card (We will schedule if needed)
  • Clean safe driving record
  • Familiarity with GPS devices or map applications
  • Driving experience within 50-mile radius of primary location preferred

Job Purpose:

At Fleury Lumber our Drivers are essential to fulfilling the needs of our customers by making sure they are receiving their orders on-time and in great condition.

This position is not limited to driving. Assisting customers in the yard, loading and unloading trucks, putting away materials, and helping out inside the store may be required. Knowledge of building materials, millwork, doors and windows helpful.

Candidate must have a positive attitude and ability to provide excellent customer service in the yard and at job sites. Working well with others and being a team player is mandatory.  Physical requirements include repeated walking and heavy lifting. Ability to work outdoors in all seasons and in all weather conditions. Pay commensurate with experience.

COUNTER & MILLWORK SALES

Qualified applicants must have previous retail sales or customer service experience.

Knowledge of building materials, paint & stain products or hardware supplies preferred but not mandatory, we are willing to train the right person.

Candidates must also possess strong organizational, communication and computer skills. Physical requirements include the ability to be on feet all day, including repeated walking throughout store, up and down stairs, standing for long periods of time and must be able to lift products weighing up to 75 lbs.

Duties include assisting our customers in sales transactions, answering questions on products, setting up deliveries and pick up orders, answering the phone, and receiving and putting away stock orders in the store.

Pay commensurate with experience.
